Leap of Faith

by Sherry Lynn   Apr 9, 2007

Leap of Faith

Holding on to the WORD
Knowing God must be true
Trusting HIM to bring you home
Believing the LORD not all is gone

Leaving you there
Was the hardest thing I have done
Having FAITH in JESUS
Will get me through

In a leap a faith
I trust strangers for your care
In a leap of faith
I know through CHRIST you are healed

We will see you every week
Awaiting your return
Working together as a family
Your safety is our main concern

On our knees nightly
Praying to GOD above
Believing with our hearts
Our family will soon be one

Wow, what an emotionally wonderful write. I loved the way you have worded this. The structure was good and as always I enjoyed reading. Just one hint of advice, loose the caps within the poem, I think that ruined the feel of it for me more than anything. But overall this was an outstanding poem.

    Peace, Joe

Hope lies in the Faith of Hearts. This so reminds me of my childhood, things I seen my mother go through, trying to keep a Family together. Tis not for the weak and in the word remain strong. Peace and Blessings

This is a wonderful poem. Turn to him in times of despair and need. He answers prayers. I know you will all be together again. Sometimes are best poems come straight from our hearts. I know this is written from the heart of a mother.

    Excellent job!
Your and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
