Because of him

Because of him all she feels is pain
and because of him tears fall from her eyes like rain

because of what he did her life is full of sorrow
and because of the things he said she may not see tomorrow

day by day piece by piece he slowly tore her life apart
with every word he said he drove another nail through her heart

she often wonders what she did to deserve this fate
and wonders if anyone will find her before its too late

shes not sure how much more she can take
everything about her life now seems fake

slowly day by day her light of hope grows dim
though she knows all he has done she still can't help but to love him
