We don't know everything

We didn't know why the grass is green
and why the suns not red
why people weren't meant to fly
and they only dream in bed
why flowers grow from the ground
and not from a tree
why the dirt is brown
and bugs are skidish and want to be let be
we didn't know all the secrets
to this world we live
but it would be worse
if they were to be given
we wouldn't have our struggles
to learn from and forgive
we need to learn our mistakes
and just learn to live

    Nice poem, there could be some changs however. eg. 'and bugs are skidish and want to be let be' If you changed that last 'be' to 'free' then it would be better, and also the flow in the last few lines went off, which was surprising because it started out so good. But goodtry though.
