Keep taking the pills

by Rachael   Apr 15, 2007

Locked with an empty shell
This isolating,lonely hell,
Grief captured tightly in it's hand
My soul within this no mans land.
Yet words unsaid and never told
I'm dying here, don't you know?
Soul screams out to deafened ears
No room for 'those like me' round here.
The world is for those sane and sure
Yet peace has long since closed it's doors.
Chained within this blackness still,
I'm just depressed, not mentally ill!
But who will ever understand.
Us children born to those who can't
Love us as we need to be?
Please someone,come
and set me free.
But no matter what she did you see,
I'll always love her endlessly.
So doctor, I don't need your pills,
Just Mummy's love; I always will.

    Hey
This is an amazing poem. It's not often that i read a poem and i'm really touched by it or get chills down my back but your poem did both things. Keep it up. Take care
