Hold me

by sian   Apr 17, 2007

I'm holding out my arms so wont you hold me?
just like you used to when I cried.
because since you left all I see are these tears,
and now I'm drowning, trapped in their tide.

I'm afraid, shouting out your name in anguish,
and begging that you hear me call.
but this time you do not answer me,
are you even there at all?

I'm lost in the darkness wont you guide me,
I'm longing to feel the touch of your hand.
like when you kissed me and told me you love me,
this silence is more than I can stand.

Desperate I run into the rain in search of you,
out into the darkness, bare foot and alone.
but once again, all I find there to meet me,
is a grave yard with your name on a stone.
