What is it?

Why did you leave me here,
so you can torment me in my dreams?
I loved you enough to keep you,
or not as it seems.

at times I wonder if you cared,
maybe you didn't and thats why you went,
there's a gaping hole in my life,
By always being there, is this what you meant?

The feeling of your unrest troubles me,
I would give anything to be strong,
and find the courage without fear that you'll answer,
to ask you what is it that's wrong?
