Scar Tissue Vengeance

by PygmyPuff   Apr 17, 2007

The scar reminds him everyday,
of their tragic fate,
of his escape.
His scar is his introduction,
for he is the story of the world.
His past is nothing,
but what was caused from that night.

Can a scar ever heal?
Or will it forever remind the person of desitny,
and revenge?
Because his first fate was coincidental,
avoided by true love.
Dumb luck.
But this is not luck,
It's revenge.

If scar tissue never heels, and emotional scars run even deeper; I guess the answer is no. 5/5

I love the whole concept of 'the scar' in this poem. It leaves the reader wondering is it a physical scar or an emotional scar, or both. I like how there is more to this scar then what meets the eye.

Your intelligence is definately showing in this poem. I am glad you are entering the world of abstract and are dealing well with the abstract. Your poetry is maturing. Kudos.
