by Dreaming of Screaming   Apr 18, 2007

The rage of loneliness practicaly perspired out of him,
yet no one noticed him.
He was sent for help,
but nothing could help him.
He was lost, confused and wanted to be in control,
but his twisted idea of control left many with only the memory of what used to be.

His process was the oposite of what should have been done,
killing many that knew they were meant for more on this planet than most.
Kids not much older then me,
ones that had a plan, ambitions and a future to hold on to.

Families have been left behind,
all because people were so blind.
A college's worst nightmare come true,
a maniack with nothing better to do.
Wallowing among his thoughts,
without a cent of regret.
April 16, 2007 is a day america will never forget;
Losing 32 students, teachers, families, and best friends.

    This is such a tragedy. You did an amazing job of writing this. It's full of emotion, and the flow was fairly good. A very touching poem. Well done.
