Unexpected

by Marie   Apr 19, 2007

Drowning in tears
suffocating in sorrows
thinking of washing away
all thoughts of tomorrows

Never been a fan of blades
but at this point she doesn't care
she needs something that works
something that's fair

the knife in front of her
gleams as light hits its blade
she sits and thinks for hours
of past decisions she's made

she'd decided this would be the best of them
although some would disagree
what's the point of living
When you aren't truly free?

the cool blade of the knife
hits the warmth of her flesh
and a single drop of blood
splashes onto her dress

she's crying as it slides
slowly up her arm
from wrist to elbow
causing freeing harm

she lies on the floor
as the energy drains from her
the blood is pooling around
how much she ist sure

soon she is dead
and isn't found until morning
And the worst part is
She showed no sort of warning
