Living in a fairytale

by fvalconbridge   Apr 19, 2007

A sweet sort of fairytale
Has pushed inside my life
A fair maiden locked in a tower
Has been found by me, a gallant knight

I have swept in and rescued her
Or I believe I have tried
And a loves first kiss started this tale
And started a love never to die.

Because I’m living in my fantasy
The dream that is you
And I'm you knight in shining Armour
And the princess is played by you

You melted and healed my icy heart
And I stole your heart away
I've locked it up inside my own
And the love grows there,
Day by day.

In the land of far far away,
Is where we can live for now,
We're not live for the future,
But love this life that’s around,

A sweet sort of fairy tale ,
has found its way into my world,
A fair princess lives in my heart,
The type with brown eyes and chocolate curls,

I never dreamed this fairytale,
Would return to me again,
But now the sun has brightened thy sky,
And we can stand kissing in the rain,

I can spoil you, buy you roses,
And write you soppy Poetry,
And we know that we love each other,
And keep each other free,

Free from reality,
The fairytale is best,
My princess helps me to survive,
And she gives me essential rest.

Fighting and defending this world,
get tiring and not at all fun
But my princess is at the centre of it
And will be there,

When the battle's won.
Because I'm living in a fantasy
The dream that is you
And I'm the knight in shining amour
And in this dream you love me too

I'm just waiting for a happy ending
As all fairy tales do
But I'm dreading the twist in the plot
But whatever is,
I'll fight through it for you.
