Is It Possible?

Is it really possible
For us to be?
Once again
Just you and me?

We've been through a lot
So much has broken us down.
We've been pushed passed our limits
Now on a break and left with a frown.

We fought so much
About every little thing.
We'd go back and forth
Saying things we didn't mean.

People got in the way
Telling us things we didn't want to hear.
They didn't want us to be together
And they tried to make that clear.

Trust was always an issue
With all the lies and rumors about.
It was hard to believe anything
When you are use to all of the doubt.

But I won't let us go
I don't want to be without you.
Can we really make us work?
Will my dream of us together forever come true?

Is it really possible
For us to be?
Once again
Just you and me?

    Definitely my favourite stanza . It says a lot to me & I can relate to that in a way .

    When you are use to all of the doubt.
    Did you mean "used" to all of the doubt ? I think that line was slightly too long . Maybe take out the of ? But it`s just a thought . I liked the beginning with that stanza, and ending with the same stanza . Most of the time it doesn`t work, but you worked it in you`r poem . Awesome job (: i liked it a lot .
    Reminds me of how I used to feel ...
