Darkness

I embrace the darkness within me.
Letting it out slowly,
To eat away at my soul piece by piece.
I let it go on corroding my mind and body.
I have become nothing.
With all this darkness raging inside me,
I feel like I have stepped into the abyss.
I have embraced the darkness.
I have done the one thing I had sworn not to do.
I have become the one thing I swore I'd not become.
I have met my unholy demise.

    Wow, even though this was a short poem it was quite breathtaking, strong and captivating all at the same time.

    "I have embraced the darkness"

    I have to say that was my favourite line because it built the overall darkness you were trying to convey in this poem. Embraced alone is such a strong word. Great write :]
