I love another

I've been with my partner for 12 years ,
in that time theres been good and bad.
Over the years we have drifted apart ,
but this hasn't made me sad.
As awful as it may sound ,
truth is I don't love him anymore.
With him I feel like a prisoner ,
his old fashioned ways I no longer adore.
There is someone else I have feelings for ,
he's all I think about all day everyday.
I go to work hoping to catch a glimpse of him ,
and I now know he feels the same way.
I've been hurt by love before and know it's not nice ,
so to leave my partner I could never do.
My love for another will remain deep within ,
and be my comfort when I'm down it's true.

    Wow.. i been with my babys daddy for a year and a half. i know i did love him, but i dont nomore. i dont know how to tell him this but i love sum1 else. i cant break it off cause i have feelings for him still. and the guy i love dont like me.. i dedicate my poems to him that about him not loving me and callin me ugly.. we dated but he left me.. were still friends but thats hard.... i love this poem.!!!!
