Love makes you soar.
Like a bird, above clouds.
Up on such a high pedestal...
It's a long, long way down.

And I don't wish to fall again.
Here's your second chance.
Beware, if you drop me...
This will be our last dance.

Such a faerie-tale start.
I don't wish for an end.
But I'm not sure I trust you...
To be my lover, my friend.

'Cause you broke my heart once,
And I fixed it with glue.
What a mess I've created...
Partial credit to you.

I love you. I love you.
Love everything that you are.
But I can't see the future.
At least not very far.

So I give you my heart.
And ask yours in return.
Now are faerie-tale waters
Again start to churn.

    It reminds me of an old saying which goes, "Do not linger in the past and worry about the future too much. The past is over; the future is still uncertain. Live in the present, because it is a gift..." I was rather delighted in reading this piece -- it's adorable, indeed! I think we do have our worries and whatnots about what will happen in the future.
