REWRiTE THE PAST.

by MomentOfTruth   Apr 29, 2007

I remember you calling me in the middle of the night
At the beginning of the day,
You promise you'd never leave
But forever stay.

And I have no idea why I'm writing in the present,
Cause we just didn't last.
But I don't know where to start,
If I could rewrite the past.

I remember me being mad at you,
For acting like a fool,
And I'll always remember
The messages at school.

In the middle of class, it didn't matter
Your name's popping up,
There goes my heart to shatter.

And I remember other things,
Like you holding me in winter
& you walking me home in spring.

And I won't forget, but I do regret
The doubts I had, and the tears I've shed.
You can hear them fall, in the back of your head.

I know we fxcked it up,
And had pretty big fights,
But can't we make it up,
And get back all our nights?
