I see the news and I weep
There are 33 dead
I sit there and I pray
I pray my son is safe in bed

The phone rings
They ask if I'm his mother
There are 33 dead
And my son was another

As I lay there in bed
I ask myself why
There are 33 dead
Why must they have died?

I find my answer
Nothing
There are 33 dead
And all for nothing

So I lay in my bed
And I pray
For those 33 dead
I Pray to them as I lay.
