My Soul Mate

My never ending search
I search to the east
then to the west
for my mate
Does this soul mate exist?
The perfect fit
The one I belong to
Is soul mate just a term
or could it be real?
I don't know
But just in case
I keep searching
Looking east to west
North to south
All directions
How will I know when
I have found my mate?
Will it show on that face?
Will I be able to see it in those eyes?
