True Beauty

by XxWorthlessxX   May 5, 2007

Every morning she wakes up,
She gets up and covers her true beauty with makeup.
Every night she goes to bed,
She lays the pillow beneath her head.
She cries, and cries,
Always wondering why.
She feels as if no one loves her,
Not even her own father or mother.
All she can think about is the good and the bad,
And all the things she never had.
She wants everyone to love for who she is,
Not for what everyone wishes.
And now she thinks of dying everyday,
But just doesn't have the courage to go away.

I thought this poem was very well done for what it's length was, your emotions are strong as well as your message and I never had any trouble with it's fluency. Nice work.
