A wedding poem

by Valiantpenguin   May 6, 2007

We talked when we were younger
though i never thought it would happen
we whispered sweet i love yous
and end conversations laughing
and as i walk down this isle
in my white dress and vale
and these tears fall from my eyes
as my father hands me over
i think of all the times we've had
the good ones and the bad
and I'm happy that we made it this far
through heaven and through hell
and this time i promise forever
to take good care of you
to there no matter what
weather its family or the flu
I'll never break your heart
until death do us part
but even death isn't strong enough
to break our love apart
we'll be together forever
never will my heart stray
you'll have my love forever
i promise I'll always stay
and i know that you'll be true
through every time we encounter
and every fight we come to
our love will keep us together
