Sonata de Blesse

by LaMusicienne   May 6, 2007

In the deep recesses of the
confused mind live
horrors like no other-
Seethe in fury.
Breathe in rage.
Your lust controls
every
furtive
moment,
movement-
An opus to a broad plain.

In the wallowing shallows of the
aching heart grow
mosses like no other-
Scream in worry.
It’s “only” a cage.
Your impatience controls
every
single
action,
reaction-
An air to a sad flame.

In the livid crevices of the
liquid soul breathe
heartache comme non autre-
Leave in a hurry.
You’re up on the stage.
Your nervousness controls
every
wistful
heartbeat,
artfully-
A concerto for the heavy rain.

In the endless caverns of the
lonely teen live
questions like no other-
A busy scurry.
“It’s only a phase.”
Your hesitance controls
every
resonant
chord,
bored-
A sonata for a young brain.
