Seperate Gardens {Triple Tanka}

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   May 6, 2007

The difference between
Two worlds and so much more --
The smell of roses.
They speak so kindly with love,
In these two different gardens.

You rule one world,
With your power and glory.
May they speak your name,
In the creations you made
That swirl far, far above.

Through entire time,
Together we will prevail,
Within a beauty.
Though our gardens are seperate,
We are always together.

Tanka is a classic form of Japanese poetry related to the haiku with five unrhymed lines of five,
seven, five, seven, and seven syllables. (5, 7, 5, 7, 7)

Wow I really loved this poem. Every time I read one of your poems I say its my favorite but as I move on to the other one I find a new favorite. You are an amazing writer, and you ability to create a masterpeice with so much structure just blows me away. The last two lines in this poem are my favorite by far, it reminded me of a lost love poem. Nice job.

    I loved this
    =]
I don't know if you know,
but Nature poems are my absolute favorite,
And this is the best one I've read on this site
In eons lol. Maybe not an eon,
    That may be an exaggeration,
But you know what I mean, haha.
    But, in this line...
    "Though our gardens are serperate,"
    Serperate should be seperate.
But then, it is perfect, =]
    Great job Darling,
