Should've Said No {Trijan Refrain}

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   May 6, 2007

Love drug me to forbidden dirt,
Breathe this we could not.
You told me that this wouldn't hurt,
Yet here I am caught.
Simple pleasures are my death,
From my kiss I'll take your breath;
...Simple pleasures.
...Simple pleasures.
From my kiss I'll take your breath.

A dirty secret and a will,
A no, no we can't do.
A simple pleasure that will kill;
A lie that isn't true.
Screaming hearts and dying love,
No one can save this crippled dove.
...Screaming hearts.
...Screaming hearts.
No one can save this crippled dove.

A broken heart will scream aloud,
To the mind of others.
Losing diginity we aren't proud;
I am not your lover.
Should've said no to your lies,
Your thoughtless mind runs coarsing by.
...Should've said no.
...Should've said no.
Should've said no to your lies.

    That was amazing. I loved the way the rhyme scheme and the flow made it almost like song lyrics. It was awesome. Full of emtion, and screaming to be read. 5/5
