Always running

by MorbidCupcake   May 7, 2007

I thought you had me
You said you loved me
But you never wanted me
And I was just running
Always running from you

I thought I was happy
They were supposed to help me
But they only hurt me
And I was just running again
Always running from them

I saw only the bad side never the good
I tried to be alright
But I knew it never would be
I couldn't stay in one place
With all the misery I faced
I was always running

Running from the lies
That you told me...every word
Running from the truth
That was there...we were gone
Running from the pain
That I caused myself...it hurt
I cant wait to see the exit sign
So I can be free, and wont have to hide
And I can stop running
Running from everything
From you
And from who we used to be
