Another Life

Another life lost,
And no one knows why.
Another sad soul,
For whom we must cry.

The reason is beyond me,
I can not quite understand.
Why he's no longer with us,
But now he is in God's hands.

The sadness fills my heart,
For all those whom he knew.
He was still fairly young,
And lived happily too.

Now he's another life lost,
And he's another sad soul.
Just another statistic,
With problems that took their toll.
