Maybe!

Close the door, shut everything out,
so tired of just walking about,
memories of the loved and of the lost lost,
who would ever no we would pay the cost.
if only someone had realised,
that it's not all down to who you are inside,
people look at the way you dress,
and straight away say that your just a mess.
maybe if it wasnt for them speaking their minds,
then maybe just maybe my soul would still be alive.

    I know what you mean by this poem. I thought it was very good. Sad and a little dark too.

    "then maybe just maybe my soul would still be alive."

    This was my favorite line. I think it was a good line to use to end the poem and it puts a more serious turn on the poem. It was a good poem and I liked it 5/5.
