Forgive And Forget

by Jamie   May 13, 2007

She looked up, the passion was there
The kiss was so very near
He looked at her through eyes of hurt and sadness
She looked back, with lies and deceit.
He'd never get past just what she had done
So very many times she did him way past wrong.

The anger and the sadness, these two are pretty bad
I live with them there, always inside my head
The lies and the guilt, these two are far worse
I can try to forgive and try to move on
but those will always be there, like a love song gone wrong
You go on trying to forget, I start each day
Trying so very hard just to try and not remember.

It's too hard for you to forgive
And even harder for you to forget.
