Picture Perfect Smile {Terzanelle}

by xTheEcstasyOfSuicidex   May 13, 2007

With your picture perfect smile,
An angel could hate you,
With your picture perfect smile.

Those beautiful eyes can see you through,
You're not as happy as you seem;
An angel could hate you.

You're not as pretty as you dreamed,
Yet, I still love you just the same,
You're not as happy as you seem.

In your body have no shame;
You're more gorgeous than any star,
Yet I love you still the same.

You're beautiful the way you are,
All I ask is you love me too;
You're more gorgeous than any star.

It's easy to say, "I love you,"
With your picture perfect smile,
All I ask is you love me too;
With your picture perfect smile.

    I really like the structure of this one, the repetition seems to mix it all up but it works really well in emphasising those lines. the alliteration in 'picture perfect' is very good too, as it enhances the perfection.
    and i like the way you've used the 'angel' to show this by contrasting this symbol of love and perfection with hate. this helps the reader to see how perfect the person/thing is.
