Fantasy worlds with magic tales
Pretending we were someone else
Sitting in the summer heat
When we were growing up together

Swimming in the noon day sun
Playing tag through grasses tall
Being hide-and-seek champs
When we were growing up together

Hugs given and secrets shared
Spending nights side by side
Listening to each others voices
When we were growing up together

Many sun rises have now past
Many sun sets closed the days
Time has past, but we will remember
When we were growing up together

    Very very cute one. I love the subject what this poem was about. And these special moments that stay between friends. Been having one friend pretty much since i was able to walk and talk and it reminds me of that:) Amazing poem! 5/5

    5/5 excellent poem. it was very cute and sweet. The repetition in it worked well in your poem. Everything fit together wonderfully.

    To be honest, i like a bit of rhyme in poems cause it gives it that extra 'umfp.' but this was well done without and i crongrad you for that.
