His Desire

by The Tears I bleed   May 19, 2007

Your cold hand brushes my cheek
I am again reminded that I am totally weak
-When compared to you
-Not knowing yet what to do

My senses say push you away
But why when you will be gone with the break of day
-You say you're too dangerous to keep around
-I say "To you I am bound"

Forgive me I just want to feel
Even if our love is against humanity and isn't real
-We're not the same
-Yet we play the game

This feeling is new
You're dead, how could I love you
-You can't seem to grasp this fact
-Trouble, you say, is what you attract

You're only half a man and the other half a beast
But this worries me the least
-I know you fight the urge for blood
-I know you fight against your taste bud

A monster, you may or may not be
That part I can not see
-You fight the battle hard
-You always have a card

I know you can't possibly understand
I myself don't really understand
-I am in love with a vampire
-And in more ways than one, I am his desire
