Ocean's Pull

Sinking downard into the deep,
This could be the beginning of my eternal sleep
The darkness calls to me and beckons me to come
My senses are taken over and I become so numb
I drift towards the siren's song,
Now to the ocean I belong
To the bottom I come to rest,
After struggling so long I know I did my best
Forgive me for not staying longer,
The ocean's pull was stronger
