Scars line my body from every beating I've took
You don't have to peer closely you just have to look
Every nasty thing you've said,
Is branded into my head
Your lies I pay for
They make my body ache and sore
Pain is my only company
It comes quickly and covers me
How much lower can you make me sink?
I'm standing on the brink,
Slowly falling over the cliff
My burdens, who will lift?
