Sweet delusions

by Valiantpenguin   May 21, 2007

I knew you would leave
it was an easy prediction
your so much better than I
just makes me wish i could be perfect
your so beautiful
you put the stars to shame
so its easy to understand
why you left me so cold and broken
the sweet delusions
are all that keep me sane
and though i don't see you
your still in my dreams
but the dreams and illusions
do you no justice
i know the real thing is better
my mind misunderstood
and i know you wont be back
but my heart still anticipates
i long to see your face
and your voice as you walk toward me
i want to feel your arms
wrapping me inside of them
and i wish to feel your lips
on mine
just one last time
but since you wont return
I'll take my sweet delusions
