Compromise

One of my poems i wrote in jail about an ex-lover and the relationship beginning to end. I hope yu enjoy it.

I'll give you all you ever wanted,
Open the door and come inside.
I'll give you what you needed,
Even if you need more time.

I'll take away your sadness,
Shining light to the blind.
I'll take away the madness,
So you can regain your mind.

Now I gave you what you wanted,
Everything you had in sight.
This is what you needed,
I have shown you the light.

But this is what I've gotten:
Scarred in return,
'Cause what you really wanted,
Was to F...ing see me burn.

So did it make you feel better,
Just to sit and watch me bleed?
But now I can't forget her,
You bit the hand that feeds.

And this is what i wanted,
Just to have my revenge.
This is what i needed,
Now I get to watch you cringe.

This is how we did it:
Through a compromise.
Now we have what we wanted,
Though it took both our lives.

And this is how it ended,
I should've seen through your lies,
It was just how you intended,
F... you and your compromise.
