All Alone

by marilyn marti   May 24, 2007

The night, she came in weeping
she brought down all the stars
She asked me how I felt
so I showed her all my scars
She couldn't stop her crying
Time was getting old
I asked her for some comfort,
for someone I could hold
The dark could not be darker
silence filled the skies
I've given up on hope
faith just handed me lies
Soon I stopped breathing
The night had gone back home
Here goes another day,
another day to be alone..
