Tears Towards Triumph

by The Black Angel Lloyd Rose   May 25, 2007

One tear, two tear, three tear, four,
All these tears I can't ignore.
I am aware I cause the most,
But I cannot bear to be the host.

Wipe them away but, they continue to fall,
Never to stop until I stop it all.
Addiction's bound me in it's chains,
Leaving your letters with your tear's stains.

Please forgive me, I ask this of you.
I'll try to overcome it so we can start anew.
I'll try to stop my habits, how hard you'll never know,.
I'll try to stop your teardrops which seem as cold as snow.
