Burning Friendship.

by MissAlyssaGraff   May 30, 2007

We used to be tight,
like Mary-Kate and Ashley.
But all of a sudden,
our friendship turned nasty.

Was it because you're conceded,
or because I'm stubborn?
Either way,
it's starting burn.

I'll start forgiving,
if you start forgetting.
So let's make a pact,
and our friendship will attract.

And maybe tomorrow,
this plan might work.
So let's shake hands,
and stop being a jerk.

Wow! That was awesome! The first stanza made me giggle a bit. "Like Mary Kate and Ashley." Haha thats awesome! Ive never heard anyone else say that. I also liked the "burning" idea. Youre an awesome poet! Keep it up!

p.s. for every poem you read of mine, I read two of yours.
