Broken Trust

by Marc Carlson   Jun 3, 2007

Smiling as he usually does with her
He sits down to start his work and do better then he has before
But as he sits a feeling of despair over comes him
It rolls in like a fast rolling thunder storm
A small panic hits him
He reads what she has written and some how it isn't a surprise
Never had he felt so victimized
She took his heart and crushed in her hands
His heart explodes like a bomb in his chest
Staring blankly into the screen he tries to gain his thoughts
Trying to go back to work is impossible now
Angry thoughts run through his head
He turns and looks at her and says nothing
Terrified of what is to come next
He asks her calmly about it
Then as she talks he feels a sense of bitterness in him
Enraged he becomes as they fight
Angry and heartbroken he gathers his things
She continues to beg him to stay, but he can not
Hesitant to leave, he still loves her
But can he ever trust her again??
He brings his stuff into the car
Unsure of what will happen
He thinks for a minute and leaves
As he is in the car emptiness engulfs him
The tears start flowing with every minute of the ride
The feeling of powerlessness is about now
It is a rainy day in his world with no signs of stopping
Is it over? Is it over?
One thing is for sure a piece of his heart has been killed
Feeling like an idiot she was the only one to do it to him before
Now she does it again!!!!! What the Hell!!!!!!
The TRUST is gone now
