I Pray

Each time I pray ,
I pray for better days.
Not sure my prayers are heard ,
but I'll continue to pray always.

I pray for peace on earth ,
for us all to live as one.
That our world could be a better place ,
and problems there would be none.

I pray my family will be safe ,
and for help to protect my kids always.
Never will my kids get hurt ,
for their childhood to be happy days.

I pray for my dearest friends ,
even the ones I've met online.
That they are all well and happy ,
and that them and their families are fine.

I pray for my true love ,
that one day we will be together.
I fear that this will never be ,
that my love has to be secret forever.
