Expressionless (191)

by NinjaGirl   Jun 9, 2007

Let no one ever see your emotions
Let alone your true self
Keep your emotions all bottled up
Like you hide your true self inside.

Treat those around you with reverance
Speak your heart with indifference
Know and believe where true wisdom is found
That you are special because you are free.

Let no one see
How much you suffer
Day by day
And exist with endurance.

Hate those who have done you wrong
And love those who love you back
Let no testament of glory
Throw down your walls of repeated strength.

One by one defeat the harmful ones
Until you, yourself, is defeated
Trust no one, although you try
Every voice holds one lie.

Let no grief adorn your features
Let no age defeat your youth
Let no one, anyone stop you
On your quest for truth.

Let no anger fill your words
Let no lonliness or sadness mar your beauty
Let no emotion leave the confines of your mind
Let no one know or see the true you.

Never back down from a fight
Know how to truly handle yourself
Make your face expressionless
And your voice toneless
So no one will ever understand
The one true you.

Wow, isn't it hard though, to hide your true self every day? Sometimes I do it too.. but I don't like to do it =) But nice poem! =)

God, I can relate, only I hide my "true" me behind a smile and giggle. 5/5 Can I know the true you?
