Devastated.

One blow can devastate,
an earthquake from within,
everything you think you've mended,
in turmoil once again.

the force is not important,
its the action that shines out,
the power to shatter someone from the inside out.

but you cannot remember,
can't face all that you've done,
so I'm not worth an apology,
cos then I'd think I've won.

I don't know what to do?
How to make it right?
so instead i sit in my darkened soul and write and write and write.

trying to make sense of you,
understand what makes you get so mad,
realizing of course its me,
I'm the one that's bad,

I'm that black sheep,
rotten to the core,
standing out for all to see,
the one you can't ignore,

But i don't know what you want from me,
i can't give you anymore,
you took every part of me,
and shook me to the core,

at least i know what you think of me,
and how little I am worth,
so maybe its finally time to return me to the earth.
