Don't be afraid to fly

Many thought she wouldn't make it, thought her life would come to an end, but they all thought wrong. Four months after she had her heartbroken, she explained to him how being friends just wasnt going to happen. Her heart had been mended and was still a little sore but was healing. She was happy again, she still drew pictures of what her heart had looked like, until one day she drew a heart of what she thought hers looked like now, mended once again. Happy once again, with her friends she laughed and smiled, her mask that she had put on her face had been diminished by the tears she cried in her past and was gone for good. She drew more of what her heart looked like, adding to her first drawing, it was black and white. She had cuts and bruises, stitches and cloth to hold together what had once been broken and wings to represent the journey it had made. Knowing that her heart would never totally heal, she had been quite amazed at what her life and final drawing had come to be. Filling her heart with joy, she showed a friend one-day at school, wondering what to name it. She asked her what she should call it, if she had any suggestions. Her friend replied with a joyous voice, Don't be afraid to fly. From here on out thats what she would title her heart, she had strength and courage. She was never afraid to fly!
