Afraid to love again...

I'm afraid to love again,
To venture on my own.
To open up my heart once more,
Just make me feel like home.

I've been hurt too many times,
Counting hands and toes.
Dreaming of a fairytale,
My answer? only God knows.

I want to believe and know,
That there still is someone there.
Waiting for me like I've been,
Looking for him everywhere.

I don't why I'm so concerned,
Or even really care.
But i do know this for sure,
Love is in the air.
