Be With Me Dear

by George   Jun 14, 2007

I breathe in deep, take in the air,
My eyes still closed in silent prayer.
I feel a presense by my side,
But fear to find my senses lied.
Timid, as rabbit prone to run,
I open eyes to morning sun.
My eyes confirm my dreaming bliss,
My love is there, my beautious miss.

In silent slumber, still she lies.
closed, her deep and lovely eyes.
I feel a faint but constant beat,
Her heart I feel as gift so sweet.
I see her steady rise and fall,
Assuring me she lives at all.

On her now I rest my head,
And snuggle closer on the bed.
Our persons fit, a perfect match
As one, we never should detach.
I feel her body, warm on mine,
Being there, a thing divine.

As I allow my mind to fade,
Ready in sleep to be laid.
A final thought comes to my mind,
A thing on which my mind oft shined.
You are my one, my perfect rose,
My love for you, naught can oppose.
My heart is full to be so near
My love, I'll stop your every tear.

But fear to find my senses lied.

I love the way that was worded. It was sooo good. It created that 'too good to be true' feeling. I loved that!
