Some Kind Of Hero

by zoe stephens   Jun 16, 2007

Here I sit and write down my thoughts
and things I wish I could say.
Do you realise if it wasn't for you
I wouldn't be here today?
Words on a page written by your hand
gave me the courage to take a stand
against the man who brought me such pain.
I knew then my life would never be the same.
You don't mind that I'm still learning to smile
as we sit and I talk while you listen a while.
I worship the ground you walk on
and I will 'til the end -
'cause you saved my life,
my hero and my friend.
