A goodbye

I wish that we have never met,
I wish we would of went of separate ways,
Just friends or maybe just strangers,
But without you,
I would never have grew up,
But without you
I would never suffered the pain you caused me,

Maybe in time,
I will learn to forget about you.
But you always have a place in my heart.
Somewhere inside.
One day I will move on..
I will learn to love again.
But he will be everything that you are not.
Because he will not hurt me like you did to me..

Now a goodbye to you.
For all you did to me.
Goodbye..

    Excellent word choice, powerfully put. The emotion was deep, and the flow was amazing the only problem I could find with this is
    Because he will not hurt me like you did to me..
    The second me in this line messes up the flow a bit, and it doesn't make much sense in my opion it would sound, and flow better if you left it out. other than that excellent job 5/5
