Drip (346)

by NinjaGirl   Jun 17, 2007

Hair of black mother-of-pearl
Lips of ruby red
Skin as white as pearl
A gun held to her head.

Eyes shining brightly
Turn to hard saphire
As invisible as a crystal
Burnt out is her fire.

Sad smile twisting her lips
Eyes now turn to emerald
Her hair is singed from the cigarette
Against her arm it begins to scald.

Knife of silver against the skin
Pressed so deeply; anger's released
The smile of joy and pain
Is what worries them the least.

Drip drop drip
She's surrounded by her blood
She laughs and lets it all out
As if it's all for fun.

Her head is swimming
Around and around
Her smile disappears
She crumples to the ground.

Hair of black mother-of-pearl
Lips of ruby red
Skin as white as pearl
It's too bad she's dead.
