Where it Lies

by Elizabeth   Jun 20, 2007

Into my eyes
It enters inside
This abandoned mind of mine
It breaks the tides
of time
And creeps slowly to hide
What does it find?

It feeds the lies
Feeds the fears
Opens the door
To my worst nightmares

So now I lay and wait
Wait and fall apart
The static in my ears
I can no longer hear
The sound is getting louder
My head spins
This fight I cannot win

There is screaming in my head
It wants to be free
I open my mouth to breathe
But when nothing escapes into the room
I sink deeper into the gloom
