Views On Life

The changes in our lives
That we often see
Better or worsen our dignity

The paths of life
Which we base ourselves upon,
Provide guidance for a while
But eventually are gone.

To be overwhelmed by all the confusion,
It may just be a synthetic illusion.
When drawn to the forces
Of dispute and subdue
We follow our hearts all the way through.

We all have learned
Right from wrong,
The stories of life
Through writing and song

Sometimes the friendships
Which took years to find
End quicker than expected,
They just lose their bind.

If life sometimes seems totally unfair,
Think of all the people you see out there
Who struggle each day with work and pain,
And hope that tomorrow,
Will have something to gain.

Bewildered are the young,
Stressed are the old.
Struggling are the poor,
The rich are in gold.
