I Sold Daddy's Little Angel

by dollwithafrown   Jun 29, 2007

I always was a little princess,
With a halo placed above my head.
Daddy's favourite; I was his sweet angel,
He swore if anyone hurt me they'd be dead.

He held me close when I was scared,
Showered me with loving kisses.
He said I was the apple of his eye,
Yet there's even some things a father misses:

Like when a daughter finally loses her way;
Starts following the wrong track.
No matter what anyone tries to do,
That princess cannot be brought back.

One day, somehow, I lost my way;
Rebellion, to me, was like an itch,
So I sold Daddy's little angel,
And exchanged her for a b.itch.
