I love the way it makes me feel,
Each time I see your face,
I love the way I can think of you,
In any lonely place,

I wish that I could be to you,
More than just a friend,
But I know that if I screwed it up,
I'd lose you till the end.

I'd never want to hurt you,
I'd try not to make you cry,
All I'd ever want from you,
Was to be there by your side.

You know I wouldn't make you,
Say yes if it's not true,
All I'll ever want,
Is to be right for there for you.
